Job Summary
Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and supports technology for Chicago Booth.Develops and implements a service-oriented environment.Assures clarity and service-oriented understanding with all constituents.Manages the Application Development, Operations, Project Management Office, Service Management, IT Security and Client Services staff.Refines documentation and governance procedures as related to hardware, software, service levels, and resource allocation.Provides leadership to the department’s staff as a whole. Plans and manages the Information Technology budget.Takes responsibility for other related projects as assigned. In alignment with campus IT strategy, IT Services' initiatives, research and teaching activities and broader academic goals, foster collaboration, build relationships and maintain partnerships specifically with (but not limited to) other organizations within IT Services, divisional and departmental IT units, vendors, clients, and staff.Establishes the group's operating budget, create and maintain a staffing plan and professional development program, assess staff performance, and monitor productivity to best apply staff talent and experience to problems and projects.Performs other related work as needed.
