Description:

Michael Baker International is looking for a Civil AutoCAD Designer to join our Land Development & Infrastructure practice!

Responsibilities:

Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards Develop technical drawings and plans The person in this position will complete quality checks of all drawings and plans and may perform some multifaceted calculations Perform quantity takeoffs and develop project estimates Requires minimal supervision to perform day to day tasks Has knowledge of engineering principles and suggests design changes Maintains drawing database and standards Will train other CAD staff Coordinates work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control Develop familiarity with Michael Baker’s practices, procedures, and standards

 

Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant experience High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred) Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings Advanced knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D  Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn Ability to work independently and with a team Willingness to mentor and teach others Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter Driver’s license

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $57,569 - $83,115. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
