**Job Description** Summary This position provides engineering project leadership and/or discipline support for various projects by researching, specifying, developing, designing, engineering, or testing components, equipment and/or systems. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, client, or employees of organization. **Math Ability** Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. **Reasoning Ability** Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram or schedule form. **Computer Skills** To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience working with Advanced Steel, and should be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and the most recent version of AutoCAD design software. **Certificates and Licenses** No certifications required. **Supervisory Responsibilities** This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities, although the individual may be asked to lead a functional work group or direct the work functions of others including drafters, designers.
