Clinic Operations Manager

Position Summary: 

The Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for assisting leaders with planning, directing, organizing, and monitoring department services subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital administrative team.  Responsible for the day to day implementation and communication of organizational operating imperatives for the service area of assigned responsibility. Assist area leadership to deliver high quality, cost-effective, and efficient healthcare workflows in accordance with annual operating goals, objectives, and organizational policies.  Successfully engages providers and staff while implementing a culture of clinical and service excellence, continuous improvement, and compassionate care with shared leadership. Delivering project execution, with well-defined project planning resources and perimeters in accordance with their system directors, drives execution of prioritized projects related to their areas annual tactical roadmaps and priorities. Provides dashboards of ongoing project successes and delays to ensure year end goals are met. Responsible for annual budgeting and monthly oversight of departmental budgets.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degreeTwo years of management, supervisory or clinic coordinator experience in a healthcare setting, including at least one year of managing and implementing projects and execution experience.Preferred: Bachelors’ degree in healthcare or related fieldPreferred: Master’s degree in Healthcare administration, business or related fieldPreferred: Certified Physician Practice Manager (AAPC), Certified Medical Manager (PAHCOM), Project Management Professional, Certified Specialist Physician Practice Management (HFMA) or Certified Medical Practice Executive (MGMA)

Essential Job Functions:

Assists leaders with directs broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements.Assists leaders to ensure a collaborative departmental approach to operational planning, care/service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.Coordinates and assists with oversight of departmental services.  Continuously assesses, measures and improves departmental performance.Demonstrates responsible management of all departmental resources.Demonstrates clinical/technical and managerial competency. Leads, teaches, inspires, helps and consistently demonstrates hospital behavioral standards
