The Genetics Clinic Assistant (GA) provides basic clinical support to patients under the care and supervision of the genetics managers, supervisors, and other licensed personnel. The GA may obtain consent, provide video education, document personal and family medical history, and collect biological sample for genetic testing with oversight of a licensed genetics counselor/provider.

Required Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biological/Health Sciences. Coursework/Training Genetics Assistant Certificate. Coursework/Training Venipuncture, Phlebotomy. Experience working in a healthcare setting. Experience with medical terminology.
