Clinical Educator - 1st Shift

We are seeking a Clinical Educator to join our Gardant Management Solutions team! 

The Clinical Educator is responsible for creating and presenting training and development programs for various team members at the Community and corporate level. The Clinical Educator will develop clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, while integrating and championing the organization's mission and core values of love, compassion, and dignity.

Frequent travel and overnight stays required.

Responsibilities: 

Plans, organizes, and conducts training programs, leadership development, seminars, and conferences for Community level and Gardant Management SolutionsDevelops materials, programs and activities to reinforce the presence of mission at all Gardant CommunitiesCoordinates the training and development for new Directors of Nursing and Nursing Staff within the CommunitiesEnsure new employee orientation meets regulatory and philosophical needs of the organizationAdministers and evaluates training program; determines needs of prospective attendeesPrepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids associated with training curriculumCommunicates training opportunities with attendees and department representatives. Reports attendance to RDCSs and VP of Clinical ServicesReviews and monitors the learning management system to ensure compliance among all communities to ensure all regulatory requirements are metWorks with Regional Directors Clinical Services to ensure all Director’s of Nursing onboarding is fully completed and complies with all training requirements. Ensures all activity is documented through learning management systemPlans, develops, manages, and evaluates annual education plans and special topic education programsEnsures that required components of education programs meet the accreditation and regulatory standards and corresponds to the continuing education mission of the organizationResearch regulatory requirements of other states, including staffing and training requirementsResponsible to coach team members as needed to ensure performance expectations are metActs as an On-Call resource to the communities and Gardant to address urgent matters

Qualifications: 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing and State of Illinois RN license requiredTwo years related experience and/or training in clinical settingsPrior Educator experience desiredValid driver's license and good driving record as determined by the insurance carrier
