Summary:

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to join the laboratory team who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and customer service to the community we serve!

Responsibilities:

Performs all diagnostic testing and quality controlsPrepares reagentsReports results according to established policies and proceduresReviews and oversees moderate to high complexity testingUses, monitors, and maintains computer applications appropriate to the positionMaintains equipment and suppliesWorks independently and in a teamMust have customer service and interpersonal skillsDemonstrates organizational, time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skillsUses and understands medical terminologyPerforms other duties as assigned

State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist LicensePreferred – ASCP certified

Education:

Associate’s Preferred – Bachelor’s

Experience:

Preferred – 1 year laboratory related

Location: Morton Plant

Status: PRN, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Shift: Shift 2

Shift 1 = Days, Shift 2 = Evenings, Shift 3 = Nights,  Shift 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: No
