About the RISE Group
In 2012, a team of software developers found themselves jumping through hoops, past cracks, and over spikes just to set up a connection for their office in Cebu, Philippines. What’s more: almost every other business they knew had the same experience.By 2015, the cause for better connectivity found itself an advocate: RISE was established to drive solutions for faster internet service. We are on a mission to help create a landscape for accelerated growth in the local internet service industry.

For an organisation to remain economically viable during turbulent market conditions, it will need to be responsive and in tune with the analysis and recommendations of its commercial analysts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with RISE Group management directly impacting business performance and decision makingProvide input in budgeting and forecasting for sales, marketing and business planning to achieve organisational objectivesAnalyse sales and marketing reports and suggest strategies for improving business performanceAnalyse promotional activities to ensure the funds invested are achieving optimal results, per marketing strategiesPerform strategic analysis and prepare financial models to support strategic planning activitiesFinancial assessment of new investment opportunities and assist the management in investment decisionsWork closely with the commercial managers and other commercial team members in providing data-backed recommendations to the client to support effective decision makingCoordinate with finance team to streamline and channel efforts to improve financial performance of the organisationSeek best practices to drive process standardisation in maintaining commercial systems; develop risk plansQualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or Economics; a Master’s in Business Administration or a similar field is a plus3+ years of experience in Business Finance or Commercial rolesCritical thinking, analytical skills, and investigative skillsAbility to conduct extensive commercial statement analysis Knowledge of basic data analysis tools like MS ExcelAbility to understand and apply statistical concepts to derive insights from financial dataExperience with business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BIStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsWorking ConditionsMakati, Metro Manila, Philippines - HybridTravel will be requiredFlex-time schedule |
