Full-Time Technician Pay Scale: $30.56/hr-$49.51/hr, DOE.

Job Responsibilities for Air System Service Technician 

The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:Must be a “D” classification or higher (internal candidates)Knowledgeable in air compressors and air distribution systems Sullair Air Systems preferredProficient knowledge of refrigeration and air dyer systems to successfully perform troubleshooting and diagnostics Proficient knowledge of portable air systems to successfully perform troubleshooting and diagnostics Proficient knowledge of engines to successfully perform troubleshooting and diagnostics (CAT engines preferred)Electrical troubleshootingAbility to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicleCDL or the ability to obtain a CDLOutgoing, aggressive in seeking resolution and has excellent customer service skillsGood customer communications skills, both verbal and oralMust be able to lift 75lbs. Qualifications for a Air System Service Technician Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on air systemsComplete service reports, timecards and order parts timely and accuratelyWork overtime as workload dictatesWork with minimal supervisionWork in field at various customer locations & work around customer scheduleOvernight travel and overnight work will be requiredMust be willing to cross train and work in other areas of the service departmentComputer skills requiredMaintain training requirements for the positionOther duties as assigned

Ability to provide an excellent customer experience Ability to work well with minimum supervisionProficient computer technology skillsStrong organizational skillsPreferred ability to meet and maintain insurability standards to drive a company vehicle Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quicklyPreferred degree or certificate in a related field or equivalent applicable experience Willingness to acquire trade-specific tooling, including hand and impact tools Applied knowledge of basic mechanical theoryMust have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
