Primary Responsibilities • Monitor status of all LAN/WAN network infrastructure • Respond to alarms in Spectrum and take appropriate action against/for them. • Create incidents for network anomalies and perform call outs all hours to ensure an analyst is aware of the situation you are reporting. • Must be able to think quickly and make the appropriate choice for the situation with little to no supervision. Requirements Required Skills: • Work off shift; this position is for off shift once acclimated to the environment. • Basic understanding of PC systems • Experience assessing and documenting communication systems in accordance with NIST standards and best practices. • Familiarity or basic understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, TCP and UDP----- Preferred Qualifications • Highly desirable- experience with Spectrum and help desk applications. • Previous help desk or Tier 1 call center environment • Network certifications are certainly considered Salary Description $55,000 - $65,000
