Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

50% Travel required nationally. Telecommuting permitted. Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

Creating responsive design web applications using front end technologies including JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS and frameworks including Angular, and Backbone JS to provide services to users; Integrating third party APIs including marketo and analytics into the existing applications; Creating and managing existing NodeJS Rest APIs, JAVA and created PHP based backend services to perform database operations and implementing backend code to perform required task; Migrating existing PHP WordPress application and MySQL database to Digital Ocean droplet and integrating marketing APIs into web application; Creating E-commerce ERP/CRM applications using NetSuite Suite Commerce Advance; Creating modules for user interactions with backend services and implementing and customizing existing modules; Implementing solutions on various Amazon Web Services using S3, Lambda, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, Route 53, ACM and EC2 service to perform optimization of files; Performing assessments of existing systems/technologies and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities through business walkthrough sessions and design documents; and Creating technical design, project deliverables and documents to track and report test cases and issues utilizing Jira and Confluence tools.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $135,283.00 - $155,375.00.
