Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Manager in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Lead information technology projects for the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address supply chain needs. Leading the creation of effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business objectives. Lead teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations and supply chain foundation. Lead service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Lead the information technology project proposal development process and develop pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities. Manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote supply chain knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

50% Travel required nationally.Telecommuting permitted.Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

Leading project teams and project delivery, and overseeing the tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope, and resources, leveraging Microsoft (MS) Project and macro-driven Microsoft (MS) Excel models;Overseeing the execution of client’s deliverables, including workshop schedule, project status, steering/executive committee updates, and functional/integration design document, as per business specifications and agreed timelines;Managing client relationships with key executives and project sponsors, developing and maintaining interactions with top decision makers, and organizing project reviews with steering/executive committees;Organizing and leading pursuit teams, leading proposal development efforts, and contributing to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities;Developing and executing networking strategies, sales tracking mechanisms, pitch presentations, and analysis documents, aimed at increasing client engagements, using Tableau, (MS) Project, MS Excel, and MS Visio; andPerforming role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Other
Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
