Paradyme is seeking a Contested Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) & Consultant to support our AI customer in delivering technology based solution in military logistics.  The person in this role will have extensive experience and expertise in military logistics and technology.

 

An Active DoD security clearance is required to be considered.

Responsibilities

The Contested Logistics SME / Consultant will provide operational and strategic expertise for AI-enabled warfighting capability development, integration, and transition of new technologies that close time-critical gaps in high-priority, multi-component warfighting missions. The person in this role will:

 

Develop strategies to define the end state vision for Contested Logistics.Help clients to develop and implement innovative process controls to minimize the deterioration of supply chains and logistics performance that go beyond traditional expediting.Use extensive knowledge of the Strategic and Operational Logistics Challenges in the DoD combatant commands.Work with DoD and the Services to build flexibility into critical supply chains by learning from commercial examples and partner with the private sector.Develop strategies to use artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud-based predictive analytics, and technology, combined with planning, to help sustain a logistics advantage.Coordinate strategies and plans to use strategic alliance partners to prioritize and deliver product solutions.Display maturity and expertise while balancing performance and mission impact against effective risk management and technical quality.Build and lead teams that use AI expertise to address the government’s supply chain challenges.

Qualifications:

Experience with warfighting technologies and capabilities for Joint Contested Logistics and providing technical assessments and innovative approaches, technologies, and capabilities to address critical joint warfighting capability gaps.Experience with providing technical analysis and advice to inform capability requirements development and validation and informing mission studies, prototype development, and global integrated modeling and simulation.Experience with identifying opportunities to use data science and analytics to accelerate decision making effectively.Ability to serve as an intermediary between product teams and military leaders to define requirements, drive solutions to meet contested logistics challenges, and collaborate with Services, Joint Staff, and DoD stakeholders to support the transition of technologies from prototypes and joint experimentation activities.Ability to work with technology integration partners to ensure product planning and development align with wants and needs of the market.Ability to serve as intermediary between product teams and senior military leaders to define requirements and drive solutions for contested logistics.Ability to develop and maintain a business plan to capture significant funding available to improve contested logistics and supply chain performance throughout the government with primary focus on DoD.

 

Additional Qualifications:

Active DoD security clearance required, Top Secret clearance is preferred.Bachelors degree, and DoD logistics experiences preferred.Experience with prioritizing limited resources based on mission challenges to drive maximum readiness and impactExperience in Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) or working with the Joint Staff on the military requirements processKnowledge of the mission planning cycle and requirements, including the role of logistics in force applicationAbility to work across organizational boundaries, creating win-win approaches for complex multi-sponsor challengesAbility to develop a strategic vision and use that vision to guide short- and long-term executionAbility to develop and maintain excellent partner and sponsor relationships at the most senior levels of diverse organizationsAbility to display an executive presence with highly effective communication and interpersonal expertise and develop high-quality, professional briefings and reports to succinctly capture key issues for DoD decision makers EEO Statement
