Contract Assistant:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Assistant to manage our company’s contracts. Assist Sr. Contract Administrators and/or the Contracts Manager in the administration of all contractual aspects of the company. 

 

As a Contract Assistant, you will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining contractual records, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

The successful candidate will be able to ensure that our contracts align with company objectives, financial regulations, and legal requirements.

Responsibilities Review and negotiate contract terms and conditionsMaintain organized system of physical and digital recordsEnsure contract execution in accordance with company policyCommunicate contract terms with stakeholdersPrepare contract briefs and coordinate with the relevant departmentsResolve any existing contract conflictsMonitor contract renewals and initiate amendmentsAssess potential risks and provide contract-related issue resolutionMaintains contract files, updates a variety of contract databases, compiles deliverable reports and prepares transmittal letters for signature, distributes contract data as directed, reviews documents and deliverables for typographical and editorial adequacy.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications BA/BS degree and 2-3 years work experienceExcellent writing, negotiation and communication skillsAbility to multitask and manage more than one contract simultaneouslyExperience in using contract management softwareRequires intermediate computer skills in MSOffice suite and electronic mail programs.Requires strong organizational skills and proficient communication skills, both orally and written. Attention to detail

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 10 poundsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
