Description We are inviting applications for the role of Controller within our team, based in Redondo Beach, California. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing our accounting and finance operations, as well as establishing strong bank relationships. Responsibilities • Oversee the management of general ledger and ensure accurate monthly close processes • Manage and process customer credit applications in an efficient manner • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly • Actively participate in establishing and maintaining bank relationships • Spearhead the external audit process • Prepare and process journal entries as required • Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions • Handle the cleaning of books to maintain accurate financial records • Leverage accounting software systems for efficient financial management • Utilize skills in budget processes to contribute to the financial growth of the business • Collaborate with other team members to achieve a 30% Year on Year growth • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation is required • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in Auditing • Familiarity with Budget Processes • Knowledge of Month End Close procedures • Ability to prepare and process Journal Entries • Experience in managing Bank Relations • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations • Experience in coordinating External Audit • Familiarity with General Ledger operations • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems For confidential consideration, please send resume to Brittany.Chapman@RobertHalf.c0m or apply directly - you can also call Brittany at (310) 719-1400.
