Controller

We are seeking a Controller to work in our Pleasantville, NY office in a Hybrid Capacity. The Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for oversight of all accounting and reporting activities.

The Controller will lead all day-to-day financial operations and supervise a team of 5 staff members including functional responsibility for accounting, accounts payable, and cash application, and ensure the company has the systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation and conduct flawless audits.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Controller will be responsible for the following:

Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Manage all accounting operations, including A/P, GL, and cost accounting. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Prepare and publish timely reports required internally and by corporate office. Manage Intercompany Reconciliation and foreign exchange accounting. Partner with HR Team on all payroll and benefits. Maintain internal controls and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and expenditures.  This includes the Internal Control Systems (ICS) for our corporate office and the annual internal control audit. Coordinate all audit activity including the annual year end audit and 401k audit. Manage and lead the accounting and accounts payable teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Accounting. CPA Required Advanced Excel skills Experienced with ERP systems – SAP S/4 Hana (preferred) Experienced with QuickBooks Outstanding interpersonal skills – build relationships. Outstanding collaboration skills. Experience with coaching and developing employees at all levels. Skilled communicator who works well while managing multiple priorities. Must have quality and integrity at the top of mind to support business requirements. Sound organizational skills: planning, expediting, prioritizing and multi-tasking. Professional attitude and have the ability to adapt and manage change.

Compensation Range: $145,000.00 - $165000.00 Contingent Upon Experience
