**Responsibilities** Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Currently we are looking to hire a Jr Controls Engineer. This positionis for an entrylevel Machinery Controls System Engineer. The main function of this position will be toprovide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), including the development, update, and validation of technical manuals, maintenance procedures and instructional documentation for operational use by U.S. Navy personnel.Thispersonnelwill alsoprovide lifecycle supportoffielded Machinery Control Systems (MCS)onthe USS ARLEIGH BURKE class of destroyer. This includes shipboard support as well as Land Based Engineering Site (LBES)support . + Lifecycle support of the supervisory machinery control system which includes, but is not limited to: + Support development and updates of documentation used by U.S. Navy personnel such as technicalmanuals, MaintenanceRequirement Cards (MRCs) and Planned Maintenance System (PMS) procedures. + Contribute to written deliverables such as the ship software delivery letter by applyingstrong communication, writing, and technical skills. + Troubleshooting complex problems of all variants of fielded systems (microprocessor basedcontrol systems)both at LBES and shipboard. + Review of technical documentation related toall variants of fielded systems and future fielded systems. + Provide test support for all variants of fielded systems at LBES. + Provide shipboardSW & HWinstallation supportofall variants of fielded systems at LBES. + Provide technical input to the design of future MCS systems. + Develop test procedures to exercise requirements of fielded systems and future fielded systems. + Provide design support for integration of equipment in an industrial/shipboard environment.
