At Coilcraft, we are currently seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in the custom machine design and build department.\n

Responsibilities:\n

As a Control Systems Engineer at Coilcraft, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the continued success of our cutting-edge products. Your responsibilities will include:\n

PLC Programming: You will program Programmable Logical Controls (PLCs) to optimize the performance of our machinery. Your expertise will contribute to reducing cycle times, increasing uptime, and minimizing the need for manual operator intervention.\n

Control System Design: You will be responsible for designing control systems used in high-performance automated machines. This will involve researching and selecting new components, creating panel layouts and schematics, building programming sequences, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations.\n

Versatile Skillset: Your work will encompass a wide array of control systems, including PLCs, servo systems, stepper systems, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), power supplies, motion controllers, and communication loops.\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:\n\nA Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Controls Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology.\nA minimum of 2 years of prior experience in programming PLCs.\nProficiency in using Microsoft Office products for documentation.\nExperience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for schematic documentation.\nKnowledge of vision systems is considered a valuable asset.\nStrong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.\nExcellent communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration within our team.\n\n
