Coordinator, Warehouse

General Summary 

The Warehouse Coordinator position manages a division warehousesand its operations while maintaining the inventory by loading, unloading, moving and storing equipment in convenient locations within the warehouse by hand or fork-lift. The Warehouse Coordinator orders necessary components and issues inventory to technicians. This position is also responsible for testing equipment which is brought back from the field, marking articles for inventory purposes and equipment removal. The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and reporting inventory levels for the region’s main and auxillery warehouse locations. Responisbilities include onsite visits to auxillery warehouses for inventory monitoring.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Maintain a clean, organized, safe and secure warehouseProtect company’s capital investmentsMaintain sufficient inventory levels to ensure timely customer activationsPartner with Area Manager and Supervisors to gain forecast information for timely orderingLift, carry, maneuver and store equipment Follow warehouse operation procedures; verify shipments, maintain accurate records of all warehouse inventory and ensure adequate stock levelsInspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment Inspect, configure and upgrade new and returned radio units for deployment Prepare work orders and requisitions for equipment repair and replacement Coordinate the salvage of damaged or used assets and material Participate in the planning of personnel safety and asset protection activities Work requires weekend and/or evening work and travel may be required 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required 

Five years in related warehouse operations or inventory role required; valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation to drive for business purposes required; ability and certification to operate fork-lift preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job related software including inventory control software and CSG Systems software, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft AX preferable Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Customer service oriented with passion for high customer satisfaction and achieving operational excellence; ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management Must be able to demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilities Ability to analyze and define problems, prioritize work flow, multitask, meet deadlines and remain flexible Ability to maintain confidentiality Must comply with Company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) established safety policies and requirements 

Physical Demands and Working Environment 

Physical demands: While performing duties of job, employee is constantly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to frequently climb a ladder and work in an elevated position. On a constant basis, the incumbent must safely lift, carry and maneuver heavy or awkward objects of eighty (80) pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment: Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area. Travel may be required depending on market.
