Prepare monthly general journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations and accounts payable as well as accounts receivable processing. Supervisory Responsibilities: + None Duties/Responsibilities: + Perform daily accounting and reporting activities regarding general ledger maintenance + Perform analyses and prepare accounting journal entries related to numerous areas (prepaids, accruals, payroll, inventory, etc.) + Create and post invoices and other necessary billing documents + Perform general billing work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased + Review purchase orders, receivers and match with vendor invoices + Prepare and run weekly disbursement process + Assist in the monthly closing process + Provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions + Allocate customer receipts + Customer/vendor interaction for collecting past dues and resolving billing issues Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting + 3-5 years general ledger accounting experience + Advanced Excel skills and the ability to learn new technologies + Experience with (Infor) Visual and/or Xtuple is a plus Required Skills/Abilities: + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Physical Requirements: + Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. + Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at times.
