Position Summary:

To provide assessments, counseling using TF-CBT and psycho-educational services to children, parents and families who have witnessed and/or experienced domestic violence in their home. Services include individual and family counseling.

Job Type/Status: Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete training in TF-CBTAssessment of clientsAdministration and scoring of standardized assessment tools.Preparation of diagnostic histories involving the collection, analysis, and recording of significant social and personal factorsProvide clinical services using the modalities of TF-CBT individual and family counseling and psycho-educationComplete documentation and other reporting requirements on a timely basisPerform specialized activities and functions specific to program. See Program-Specific ResponsibilitiesParticipates in agency collaboration team meetings weekly for 2 hoursProvide Parent/Child assessments using tools as written within the current GrantProvide Parent and Family Counseling sessions using TF-CBT.Participate in weekly Case Review Meetings and/or Individual SupervisionParticipate in the development and planning of sessionsOther duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

MSW, or MA in a related human services fieldLicensed (MFT, LCSW, LPC) preferred or license eligible.Knowledge in the area of domestic violenceExperience working with children and familiesBi-lingual Spanish speaking preferredClearly communicate ideas in both written and verbal form
