OTT HydroMet is seeking a full-time EU Credit & Collections Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team in Fellbach, or Delft reporting directly to the Global Sr. Commercial Controller.

As EU Credit & Collections Analyst, you will liaise with our international customers, our Commercial teams, the Customer Support organization and banks. With production sites in Germany, the Netherlands and North America as well as sales offices in the UK and France, you will be working and collaborating internationally with our customers across the globe.

You analyze internal and external available data in order to establish good quality credit limits and to assess risk and opportunities. You monitor the international debtor portfolio, credit limits and check whether payment agreements are met. You take proactively the necessary steps to ensure outstanding collections are managed timely to help in achieving our DSO target. Decisions are made on the basis of your reports and accurate data. Through your expertise and commitment, you contribute to continuous improvement of existing process with the goal to reach our working capital target.

Main Responsibilities:

Oversee credit risk exposure and assign and review credit limits based on credit management policy

Drive timely receipt of customer receivables for OTT HydroMet’s European Entities, process and apply receipts to outstanding Receivables and ensure all unallocated cash transactions are timely resolved

Ensure all transactional accounting processed have and adequate set of working internal controls in place, that meet the requirements of both internal and external auditors;

Ensure accurate reporting of AR ageing, risks and disputes and manages Daily & Visual Management of AR and Collections;

Drive accurate forecasting on receivables as part of Working Capital, including DSO targets;

Ensure account reconciliations (Blackline) and confirmations with variance analysis are prepared.

Support SOX and other internal control processes by enforcing US GAAP and local policies.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

5+ year work experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment

Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Economics.

Have advanced skills in Excel and automated financial systems

Have a good command of German and English language, both verbally and in writing

preferably located in or near Fellbach (Stuttgart area) or Delft (Netherlands)
