Risk Analyst position within the JPM trading platform that manages the bank’s bridge book exposure. You will need to have a deep credit background across multiple industries and be very focused on the ability to sell bonds, loans, preferred to investors.

Job Summary:

As a Trading Services Analyst within Credit markets, you will be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation. 

Job Responsibilities:

Work with various teams, predominantly leverage finance and capital markets, (as well industry coverage, sponsor group, and credit) to analyze both sponsor deals and corporate M&A deals and assess the risk quality and pricing on a deal to ensure it is palatable to be sold to institutional investors. Analyze trading desk opportunities being mindful of regulatory requirements Exposure to daily high yield and loan meetings, weekly capital markets and leverage loan meetings and will have responsibility for weekly balance sheet committee meetings. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

At least 10+ years of relevant experience (preferably Research/Markets related) Extensive credit background across various sectors Someone who thrives on the challenge of competitive pressures and can assess risk according to client needs Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions, generate trade ideas and analyze market movements Maturity and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced and open environment The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach working with various business partners but with a mindful eye of protecting the firm’s capital

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

VBA is a plus BA or BS degree preferred (either Economics or Industrial Engineer preferred) Markets background is most preferred
