JOB SUMMARY We have an immediate opening for a Credit Specialist who will be responsible for various critical functions, reporting directly to the Credit Manager. This position is based onsite Monday-Friday at our Latham, NY global headquarters. YOU ARE + Experienced at understanding complex customer program agreements - to ensure the proper processing & accounting of all contractual and promotional credits as they affect the financials. + Accustomed to working with technology - where you will utilize the ERP system to review and process credits in a timely, accurate manner. + Detailed oriented – you will accurately validate & process all Credit Memos; both contractual and operational, including shortages, pricing adjustments, shipment discrepancies, marketing programs, rebates, credit/rebills etc. + A firm believer in providing great customer service – you naturally identify and communicate operational deficiencies in efforts to improve and reduce customer deductions. + A team player – you will bring the ability to collaborate with multiple departments, have strong interpersonal and time management skills. + A problem solver – you know how to help solve problems, have uncanny attention to detail and you are not afraid of deadlines. You are all about getting the job done! REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS 3+ years of experience is required. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, or a related field of study, or relevant work experience MS Office skills required; experience and use of ERP software or another Epicor platform is extremely helpful.
