McDonald’s Crew Person Job Description Company: KTL Restaurants LLC | Haynie Holdings LLC Position: Crew Person Reports To: Shift Manager / General Manager Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Including Youth Applicants Ages 15–17) Job Summary: As a McDonald’s Crew Person, you will work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment to provide Gold Standard service and food quality. You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant experience for every customer. Key Responsibilities: + Greet customers with professionalism and positivity. + Accurately take orders using POS systems or kiosks. + Prepare and serve food and beverages following operational standards. + Maintain cleanliness in all restaurant areas, including the kitchen, restrooms, and dining room. + Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. + Unload deliveries and stock inventory as needed. + Work collaboratively with team members and follow management direction. Qualifications: + Must be at least 15 years old and legally authorized to work. + Reliable, punctual, and committed to high performance. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. + Willingness to follow all safety, quality, and guest service standards. Youth Employment Compliance (Minors Under 18): We strictly follow North Carolina Youth Labor Laws and federal labor guidelines: Ages 15: + During School: Up to 3 hrs/day, 18 hrs/week (7 A.M.–7 P.M.) + School Breaks: Up to 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week (7 A.M.–9 P.M., June 1–Labor Day) + Breaks: 30-minute break after 5 consecutive hours worked + Prohibited Tasks: Use of hazardous equipment (fryers, ladders, etc.) Ages 16–17: + Not permitted to work between 11 P.M.–5 A.M. before a school day (without written permission) + May not perform hazardous duties All Minors: + Must present a valid Youth Employment Certificate (Work Permit) before starting employment + Will be scheduled only for hours and duties that comply with legal guidelines Workplace Violence Policy: We have zero tolerance for any act or threat of workplace violence. This includes: + Physical violence or threats + Harassment or intimidation + Possession of weapons + Destruction of property All incidents must be immediately reported to a manager. Disciplinary action, including termination or law enforcement involvement, will result from violations.
