As a full-time CT Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends. The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.

Summary of Essential Duties:

Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructionsAdminister contrast materialPrepare and operate CT scan equipmentAbility to position patient to capture appropriate imagesSend images to Radiologist for interpretation/readingCleans and disinfects patient roomsFollow infection control and safety guidelines
Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program required

License/Certifications:

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) requiredCalifornia Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification requiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willing to obtain within one year from start dateBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association requiredVenipuncture certification preferred

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred
