Our client in Oceanside is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. In this role, you will assist patients and caregivers, streamline communication processes, and play a critical role in delivering exceptional health-related services. Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the first point of contact by helping patients with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups.
+ Provide comprehensive assistance to patients regarding benefits, billing, and healthcare services.
+ Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
+ Resolve patient issues efficiently and escalate healthcare concerns to the proper team for resolution.
+ Work with internal medical teams to provide accurate information while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare standards.
+ Play an integral role in contributing to the positive culture of patient care and building trust with each interaction.
Requirements
+ 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
+ Comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems or other patient-related software.
+ Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
+ Knowledge of healthcare regulations, benefits processes, and insurance verifications is a plus.
+ A compassionate, professional approach with a passion for patient care and service excellence.
