Job Description
We are a leading provider of scheduled surface transportation, supply chain management and related logistics services within the domestic United States. Every day, we manage the shipment of goods to and from over 40 freight terminals.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Developing a proactive relationship with our customers by providing first-class customer service and communication
+ Handling shipment quoting/pricing for customers
+ Covering available shipments through strategic negotiations with trucking companies
+ Sending and collecting documents to and from carriers
+ Obtaining location updates for shipments in progress
+ Data entry of various files and information into our software
+ Providing problem-resolution effectively and a timely manner

Requirements
High school diploma or GED, or tertiary qualifications in a related field or extensive industry experience
+ Experience using office equipment, including printers and fax machines
+ Strong communication skills (via phone, email and in-person)
+ Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
+ Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
