Data Architect

What will I do in this role? 

The Data Architect is responsible for delivering results using their creativity and results-oriented critical thinking to meet complex challenges and develop new strategies for acquiring, analyzing, modeling, and storing data. The Data Architect works with business and technical leaders to help develop and utilize the latest technology and information management methodologies to meet our requirements for effective logical data modeling, metadata management, and database warehouse domains. Maintains quality service standards set by the organization.

What qualifications do I need to have for this role? 

Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field and experience
-7 years of proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role to include previous experience as a software developer in a data management role
-Proficient with Data Governance/Data Lineage tools similar to Microsoft Purview
-Experience designing cloud data repositories similar to Microsoft OneLake

Preferences:
-Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js, and R)
-In-depth understanding of database structure principles
-Ability to present technical information to fellow technical professionals as well as non-technical peers

Where will I be working? 

This role is Hybrid and is based at the 6545 Sequence Drive, San Diego, CA 92121. 

What is the pay range? 

Pay Scale: $150,900.00-$195,300.00 (Per Year)
