Function

The Enterprise Data Management Function is responsible for effective and consistent Data Management of the bank’s data which is deemed critical: Used in external reporting, used to continuously provide information to the bank’s board, and data whose deficiency can cause financial loss/severe Impact to the customer. 

Summary

The new hire will work as a member of the DMO (Data Management Office), to perform activities required to provide effective control of the data which is deemed critical to the bank.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Work with team lead to understand requirements Decipher technical documentation, Data Flow diagrams, SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, and SSIS packages in order to document Data Lineage manually and automate Data Quality Rules Download data lineage and build Data Quality rules using Manta/IBM tools Troubleshoot Manta/IBM tools configuration problems Build DQ Rules using VBA Support DMO production processes on daily basis

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics mathematics, physics or computer science 7+ years of relevant work experience:

Prior working experience in Financial Industry / Data Governance / Data Management Office

Prior exposure to projects related with Data Quality Rules, and Manual/Automated Source to Target data mapping

Data quality operations using any toolset

Sr. Level VBA Programmer (minimum 7 years programming with VBA; Access, Excel, Outlook) Programming experience in .NET / C# Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle (Advanced SQL Writing skills) Advanced Excel skills Knowledge on Data catalogues and Data dictionaries for data analysis Knowledge on Data lineage fundamentals Familiarity with Data Governance tools specifically IBM Infosphere Great Communication Skills
