Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Data Product Manager. The Data Product Manager will help create and manage product roadmaps that leverage Daikin’s significant data estate. You will elicit requirements, identify pain points, and develop opportunities in conjunction with business stakeholders. You will identify creative ways to solve their needs and define the required data and analysis required to fulfill the solution. You will leverage Daikin’s data and analytics platform and work with digital leaders to ingest, curate, and serve the data necessary to fulfill the roadmap. What you will do:
Product Management: Define and manage product roadmaps. Curate and order backlog features, plan product increments, epics, and product narrative. Manage delivery timelines Stakeholder Management: Elicit requirements, understand voice of customer, audience, and personas. Identify pain points and work with business partners to creatively solve them Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members across the organization. Partner closely with related teams such as UI/UX, development, and other product management functions Data: Learn and leverage the available data in our data estate. Identify gaps and work with digital leaders to fill them with new data sources and/or new datasets. Understand regulations and limits on data use Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. Promote a data-driven culture Data-Driven Decision-Making: Champion a data-centric culture, empowering business units to leverage data insights for strategic decision-making and operational excellence Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives, adoption, and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement and value creation Product Management: Define and manage product roadmaps. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or experience in Data, Data Science, Product Management, Business Administration or a related digital, analytical, or IT field 4-6 years of Product Management, preferably managing data or analytical solutions Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree 6+ years of Product Management, preferably managing data or analytical solutions Experience using SQL to query, join, filter, and aggregate data from relational databases Experience working in a global organization with diverse teams and a deep understanding of global data regulations

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,000 - $188,800 (+ 20-25% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
