Reporting to the Heart Center Research Manager, the data specialist has the responsibility to maintain and provide oversight to the Heart Center clinical databases. The Coordinator will also assist in identifying, developing and participating in quality improvement initiatives based on data trends within our healthcare sector.

Job Description

1. Master's degree in Public Health (MPH )or related degree is required 2. 2-3 years of research or data-related experience. 3. Proficiency in gathering data from web sites and other sources. 4. Excellent communication skills and ability to respond quickly to data requests. 5. Experience creating presentations using Power Point. Also should be proficient in Access, Excel, and web-posting and design (including use of Front Page)

Bachelor's Degree: Nursing
