The Warehouse Area Manager assists the Warehouse Manager in providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.Assists receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and proceduresHire and make recommendations on employment statusDirects all warehouse personnel to meet DC goalsSafeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocolsControls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systemCompletes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work resultsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededEstablish and preserve a positive work atmosphereOperate forklift, pallet jack, and warehouse equipmentMay be required to cross train and perform other duties 1+ years warehouse leadership experienceAbility to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficientAbility to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented mannerAbility to work independently without supervisionFlexibility with hours: ability to work varied hours, days, night, and weekends as business dictatesAbility to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely Ability to complete computer-based training
