DC Operations Supervisor (2nd Shift)

General Summary:

The DC Operations Supervisor (2nd Shift) is responsible for the overall management of operational activities, associate matters, safety & security, and maintaining other business requirements.

 

Reports To:  DC Area Manager

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for operational planning, execution, and exceptions management through the workgroup. Responsible across multiple activities which include but not limited to receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Supervises safety, security, and building control activities across the shift assigned. Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards. Direct communication with DC staff regarding operational activities and outcomes. Systems interaction which involve use of WM to track product movement and research exceptions.

 

Required Skills:

Systems and informational management skills are at minimum a moderate level Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook Effective Verbal and written communication skills Multi-tasking skills

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years of leadership experience supervising production associate, preferably in a Distribution Center environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with Manhattan Warehouse and Labor Management Systems are preferred

 

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
