(DC4) Posted On: Tue Oct 11 2022 Job Description: DC-4 welcomes applications for a Teacher to join the Preschool Integrated classroom. The teacher is responsible for setting up individual interest and learning centers, planning daily classroom activities, arranging equipment appropriately, maintaining various records as required, meeting fire and safety requirements and assuring that equipment is safe, clean and appropriate for the child's age and ability. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: + Being accountable for the assigned classroom. + Responsible for designing and maintaining a neat and inviting learning environment appropriate to each child's development. + Supervising those individuals who are working in the classroom, such as the assistant teacher, teacher's aide, volunteers, student participants, and substitutes. + Coordinate planning and carry out activities collaborating with the Director, Center Managers, and other center staff. + Developing individualized plans to meet the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual long term goals for each child. + Participation in workshops, classes, and groups as required.
