Design Engineer
Job Title: Design Engineer3 month contractJob DescriptionWe are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Design Engineer to lead the development and execution of composite materials. In this role, you will be tasked with designing composite structures, conducting research on new materials, and evaluating material properties. You will ensure all composite designs align with technical and safety regulations while developing innovative and cost-effective composite solutions. Moreover, you will collaborate with production teams to ensure the successful manufacturing of composite products, analyze and interpret test data to suggest improvements, and stay updated with advancements in composite technologies and materials. You will also document all stages of the design and manufacturing process for future reference and analysis.
Hard Skills7-10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in composite manufacturingAerospace knowledgeExperience with Mil standards for designUnderstanding of DFARExperience with autoclavesExperience with banding techniques for designSoft SkillsStrong experience in materials engineeringAbility to analyze and interpret test dataCollaborative mindsetWork SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Florida.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $68.00/hr.
