Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on developer with strong C#, Python, MS SQL Server and Web Application experience that will help us develop modern end-to-end business solutions. This role will assist with the design, planning and execution of the Private Equity Finance platform.

We are looking for a self-directed developer with strong business knowledge of Finance and a proven track record of advanced programming. An ideal candidate is someone who has worked with accounting or fund controllers, understanding financial closes and developed tools to help support those finance functions within Private Equity. Someone who is comfortable to manage the development and implementation of tools, data feeds and other business related needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop robust, architecturally sound solutions for the Finance team within the Alternative Investments Technology teamOptimize data feeds from fund administrators and other third-party data providersDesign and build streamlined methods of accessing financial data including but not limited to Performance, AUM, Valuation and other accounting data setsDrive future state technology architecture utilizing cloud technologiesManage the relevant technology streams of firm’s larger strategic initiativesProvide oversight of all solutions and architecture developed, conduct code-reviews, and mentor developersPartner with other technologists to collaborate, communicate, and gain consensus over ideal technology solutionsSeamlessly partner with Application Service Delivery group, who have accountability for Delivery & Service Management

Qualifications:

BS or BA Degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years)Broad, hands-on experience using C#, Python, ASP.Net and MS SQL ServerExtensive business knowledge of Finance and sub-verticals withinStrong understanding of databases - Snowflake knowledge is a plusFamiliarity with Microservice design patterns and Web API development including SwaggerAbility to lead technical design and work management skillsExperience in accounting platforms such as Geneva or Investran a plusExperience developing on AWS or Azure is a plusExperience in an Agile/Scrum environment a plusExperience with any ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS is plusExperience with DevOps toolsets such as VSTS, JIRA, Git, or similarStrong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skillsStrong sense of professional pride and individual accountability

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $110,000-$140,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
