Diagnostic Medical Sonographer | St. Cloud Hospital

This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of up to $2,500

Job Summary:
The staff Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider, who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medial sonographer services and its various clinical specialties. The activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policy and procedures and applicable professional standards.

Schedule:

Full-time  72 hours every two weeks  Monday-Friday, various day & evening 9-hour, 10-hour, and/or 12-hour shifts.  Weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications:

Certificate Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program or Associate of Applied Science Degree Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or Bachelor's Degree Completion of a bachelor's degree  Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider Card Upon Hire Required Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) ARDMS Credentialed in one of the following:
Credentials in multiple specialties preferred.

1) Abdomen
2) OBGYN
3) Pediatric
4) MSK 

ARDMS Breast credentials required to rotate through Breast Center  Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) RVT Registered 6 months  Vascular Experience Preferred
