Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Job Details Job Location Scott AFB - Shiloh, IL U.S. Got People is seeking to hire an Ultrasound Tech for a federal contract opportunity at Fort Leonard Wood. + Perform all associated administrative duties to include: advanced computer knowledge, receptionist, scheduling, proficient in all documentation, and record maintenance to ensure accuracy and patient confidentiality, HIPAA, and JC requirements. + Provide a variety of sonographic examinations to a patient population that ranges from infant to geriatric. + Assist with training of students, military personnel, and radiology residents in the principles and protocols of ultrasound. + Work independently and be able to recognize situations or abnormalities that require the radiologists immediate attention or direct observation in real-time. + Perform other duties as assigned within the general scope of those normally performed by a registered ultrasound technologist in an inpatient and outpatient setting. + Ultrasound Technologists providing services under this contract shall perform the same clinical duties as those required of any military or government civil service Ultrasound Technologists of similar experience assigned to the same unit. + Education: Be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. + Licensure/Certification/Registration: Be currently American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certified in Abdomen, Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and RVT. + Experience: At least two years experience post certification.
