As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide individualized supported living services, including support, training, and oversight to clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their own homes and communities. Our ideal candidate is passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities, has relevant experience, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support, training, and oversight to clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their own homes and communitiesAssist clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and other daily living activitiesImplement individualized support plans and document client progressAttend meetings and specialized training as requiredMaintain appropriate certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Med Aide)Complete documentation and reports as requiredFollow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

High school diploma or GEDOne year of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities, or successful completion of approved training

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to interact and work effectively with peopleGood verbal and written communication skillsPunctuality and excellent attendanceGood computer skillsKnowledge of service provision in the fieldReliable means of communication and transportationValid driver's license and proof of insurance (if driving is required)Working air conditioner and heater in personal vehicle (if transporting clients)
