DSP should be energetic, compassionate and truly enjoy making a difference in the lives of the people supported. This independent, self-starter will take the initiative to make community connections for volunteer opportunities for the people we support. A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification. HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/8:00 am to 4:00 pm STARTING SALARY: $ 15.01 to $ 16.52 per hour Minimum Requirements + High School Diploma or GED is preferred + Acceptable NYS Driver's License + Computer skills
