Job Description

Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide senior level development and design the implementation process for tracking electricity supply costs for nationwide network of DC fast chargers consistent with Pilot's business objectives. Work closely with internal teams to maximize returns through developing retail pricing strategy for electricity at Electric Vehicle charging stations.

Essential Functions

Develop and implement process for tracking electricity supply costs for nationwide network of DC fast chargersProvide subject matter expertise related to U.S. Power marketsDevelop, own, and manage the retail pricing strategy for nationwide network of electric vehicle charging stationsIdentify new electricity supply and optimization strategies to maximize value from chargersLead development of internal tools, models, and frameworks to track and develop costs and pricing strategiesWork with Policy Team on developing pricing policy and rate design issues for EV chargers and rate cases as neededWork with legal team in drafting, negotiating, and executing any bespoke supply agreementsCommunicate project progress, barriers, risks and needs to EVCI / Pilot ManagementRecruit, lead, and provide daily oversight, and set priorities of analysts responsible for tracking electricity supply costs for nationwide network of DC fast chargers in line with Pilot's business needs and goalsCoach, train, and develop direct reports, to include appraising job performance and conducting performance reviews.Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresProvide other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferredMinimum 5 years’ experience in US Power markets either in trading, supply, or optimization roleMinimum 5 years’ leadership experience required

Extensive knowledge of wholesale power markets, utility rate design and power market fundamentals

Travel
