Job Description Directs an organization's facilities department. Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators. May manage the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a top management. Bachelors degree with 7- 10 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
