The Employment Services Director oversees the overall operation of the Amity Employment Services Programs and monitors the daily management of the employment team and community. Directly supervises the Associate Director, Business Services Manager and Project Coordinators.Essential Duties:· Design, implement, and evaluate employment and training programs. Oversee the implementation and provision of all contractual program components, services and activities.· Ensure compliance with all employment services funding entities, administrative and fiscal regulations in accordance with the Contract Agreement provisions.· Develop strategies to improve job placement rates and client outcomes· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local workforce regulations· Development of quality control procedures to ensure high quality services.· Assist in resolving programmatic and personnel issues or concerns that arise.· Conduct faculty (staff) meetings with all employees to discuss personnel and programming issues and assign other duties as needed.· Oversee and monitor employment services activities of faculty such as intake, assessment, training, job search activities, workshops, etc.· Assist in planning, formulation and supervision of performance goals and objectives, program budget, program techniques and methods, faculty selection, training and development, monitoring program effectiveness.· Supervise preparation and submission of all required reporting.· Ensure program compliance with Amity policies and procedures, relevant to federal and state regulations and contract obligations.· Responsible for the daily management and quality of care and services afforded to students is in keeping with contemporary therapeutic community methodologies and “best practice” standards.· Oversee the capabilities of the project; ensure that accommodation will be made to meet individual and/or special needs of students.· Attend and participate in Amity community building functions.· Attend and participate in funder(s) meetings, trainings, events, functions etc. as it pertains to Employment Services
What You Will Bring:Education and Experience:Required:· Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related fields· A High school diploma or equivalent AND 5–7+ years of progressive experience in employment services, workforce development, job training, or related field and experience in a managerial or supervisory role· Experience working with or within government-funded workforce programs (e.g., WIOA).· Experience with workforce systems (e.g., CalJOBS, WorkSource, or similar platforms).· Familiarity with federal and state labor laws and workforce policies.· Background in career counseling or human resources can be a plus
