About the "Department" + The Finance department at Montrose Regional Health does accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, cash management and investments . The department is also responsible for the issuance of debt for capital projects, purchasing, and budget preparation. About The Career: + The Director of Finance will be instrumental in financial planning, business development strategy, reimbursement planning and analysis as well as be responsible for financial oversight for Montrose Memorial Hospital. The Director of Finance will drive finance, accounting, audit and reimbursement process enhancements and margin improvements across the organization. Additional major functions include forecast planning, business development, cost reporting, payor contracting, revenue cycles, budgets, internal controls, auditing, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation and analysis. This position will be responsible for directing financial processes in concert with the Hospital's Chief Financial Officer. All About You : + Bachelor's degree in related field is required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master's degree is strongly preferred. + Minimum of 5 years financial management experience in a hospital setting REQUIRED. + Management experience is required. + Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. + Skill in monitoring/assessing the performance to make improvements or take corrective action. + Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. + Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs. Ability to establish goals and objectives. + Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
