Position Available: Director of Nursing

Location: The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Pawling

About the Role: As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to exceptional quality of care. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring compliance, effective communication, and personalized care for each resident.

Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership in maintaining exceptional quality of care. Collaborate with nursing staff at all levels to foster a culture of excellence and compassion. Oversee care planning and coordination of nursing services. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in nursing theory and practice. Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records. Play a key role in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of nursing staff. Maintain flexibility in work schedule to address the evolving needs of our residents.

Requirements:

Current New York State RN license. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings. Proven track record in staff training and development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
