Distribution Center (DC) Operations Analyst

The Role

The Distribution Center (DC) Operations (Ops) Analyst is responsible for monitoring, identifying, and presenting potential solutions as it relates to all DC performance issues. The DC Ops Analyst role requires a wide range of operational knowledge, understanding, and process flows. This role requires a strong background in data analysis which in turn the Ops Analyst must interpret the data into meaningful and understandable form. This role also requires a minimum of Tier II DC Trainer knowledge and 3 years of operations experience. This role will also require the ability to manage projects as assigned by the Industrial Engineering (IE) Manager.

The DC Ops Analyst role currently does not manage any subordinate but is expected to train Jr. DC Trainers and supports the operations as needed or as indicated by the IE Manager.

The DC Ops Analyst will develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, and all leadership. The DC Ops Analyst will always represent the company in a positive and supportive manner whether it be present in our DC or working remote.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Analyze data and information to identify business opportunities.Work closely with local and executive leadership team to achieve outcomes based on company goals.Gathers and creates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly productivity reports for leadership and identifies positive and negative trends.Work with leadership team on multiple key initiatives.Keeps updated on the most current DC industry technology and market trends.Mentors DC Trainers and participates in the development of new and existing projects driving them to completion.Adheres to all company policies.

Who You Are

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications, specifically Word, Excel and Power Query, and other data analysis toolsEffective communication skills and provides timely updates across all levels of the organizationExcellent problem solving and analytic abilities, aptitude for math and data analysisHigh level of confidentialityIndependent worker that grasps concepts quicklyHighly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starterMust track data and work in an organized mannerExperience working effectively in a fast-paced environment managing conflicting prioritiesExceptional attention to detailHigh Jump, Pyramid, and Dozuky knowledge preferredSOP development, QRG development, and the development of work instructions are required.

$65,000 - $70,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Moreno Valley, CA distribution center. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
