Division IT Manager

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Division IT Manager for their Information Technology Department. The right candidate will be responsible forsuccessfully managing the operation of all information technology projects throughout the Division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and implement all new information technology projects including communications, computers, and internet

Work with regional and corporate staff to meet the IT needs of the division

Maintain the copiers, phone systems, printers, computers, networks, websites, and all software applications used by the division. Provide system accessibility to all users, with minimal downtime, including Sales and Construction

Train staff on all applications

Manage computer software and hardware inventory, including maintenance and upgrades and replacement where necessary. Work with vendors to procure necessary equipment and software

Administer all user accounts and groups on all systems. This includes setting up new users, making changes to user accounts, and terminating accounts upon employee leave

Manage the remote access capabilities of division users through VPN and RAZ accounts

Manage the design and operation of all division websites. This includes developing new areas of each website, maintenance and expanding capability of existing sites to meet business needs

Provide support to users on all applications

Develop/research ways to use new technology throughout our home sales process

Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises two or more employees in the IT Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
