Job Description Good Shepherd Village is looking for a Temporary Driver! Position Details Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, 60hrs bi weekly pay period. Temporary for approximately three months as of March 27th, 2024. Temporary Driver Position Summary Basic Purpose: Responsible for transportation of residents to outside appointments and activities. Maintaining appointment schedule; coordinating with other Drivers to insure information is communicated effectively. To be aware of vehicle maintenance and report to supervisor any changes in the vehicles driving ability or need for further investigation. Observe appropriate safety guidelines to ensure safety of passengers Maintain accurate documentation of mileage Contact residents prior to appointment as a courtesy reminder Essential Job Requirements Education: High School diploma or GED (required) Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Must have a valid Driver's License Experience: 1 year relevant experience (preferred) Physical Demands Never: Lifting more than 25 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling or crawling Occasionally: Lifting/Carrying 1-10lbs.
