The Driver is responsible for transporting clients to and from facilities, ensuring their safe and timely arrival for participation in our recovery programs. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, adherence to traffic regulations, and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure safe and timely transportation of clients to and from facilitiesAdhere to company vehicle use policies and traffic regulationsMaintain professional boundaries with clients during transportationComplete incident reports as necessaryConduct vehicle safety checks and report maintenance issuesParticipate in staff development activities and required meetingsContribute to data collection, program evaluation, and grant applications as needed

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is required.Must be at least 21 years of age

Required License/Certification (one of the following):

Must possess and maintain a Missouri Class E license.Must attain and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens.

Additional Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of ageMust possess and maintain an acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance.Demonstrates professional communication skills, including the ability to read and write coherently and cohesively.Demonstrates personal characteristics suitable to provide a positive role model.Demonstrates strong time management skills.Demonstrates ability to drive and knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.Demonstrates ability to maintain a positive attitude in the work environment.Acquires knowledge of Missouri Department of Mental Health Certification Standards governing program practices.
